Digital Storytelling

Children love to watch movies and play video games, but do they ever stop to wonder how those brilliant ideas begin? It’s not everyday that kids get to bring their ideas to life. Here at Lawrence Avenue Elementary, our students pride themselves in their ability to utilize technology as a tool that drives their creative experiences.

Each week over students in the Digital Storytelling Club will work with programs such as iMovie, Microsoft Movie Maker and iTunes to help bring their stories to life. Students will plan, create, and produce high-quality mixed media presentations that they will be able to share with their friends and families for years to come. Who knows? One day your child could be Hollywood’s next big film maker!
